Krishna in Langtang - the beautiful trekking in Nepal!

An unforgettable experience in Langtang Trekking
I and Mori from Japan were in Langtang trekking for 8 days (Kathmandu - Kathmandu) from 08th April to 15th April 2007. The trek was superbly fine and enjoyable. The outstanding view of Mt. Langtang Lirung (7228meters) was best. We have trekked to Kyanjin Ri at an altitude of 4600meters, the best view point of Langtang valley trekking. Kyanjin Ri offers you spectacular himalayan scenery including, Langtang Lirung, Naya Kanga, Gyasyang Po, Yala Peak and many others.

In short, Langtang is one of the beautiful trekking destination I have ever visited. If anybody prefer to trek in Nepal why don't you choose Langtang for your holiday? I'm sure this trek make your holiday memorable for the lifetime. Not only the mountain scenery, you can get an oppurtunity to see the local cultures, custom, tradition and way of life. Generally, you can obeserve Tibetan culture in the area.

Langtang - Trekking in glacial valley

The Langtang Valley is located only 19 miles north of Kathmandu, close to the border of Tibet. The valley is dominated by Langtang Lirung [7246m], the highest peak in the area. This exquisite trek offers the shortest path to undulating snow-capped Himalayan Mountain from Kathmandu. The trek starts from Syabru Besi after 6-7 hrs drive from Kathmandu. The route meanders along Bhote Kosi river through ethnic Tamang villages, lush green forests and wide spread Kyangin valley surrounded by snowy peaks from all fours sides. After sinuous ascents, trekkers climb up to Kyangin at 3800 meter.
On reaching Kyangjin Ri [4350m.], one can capture the most mesmerizing view of towering mountain range. Following the route back down the valley to Syabru Besi, the trek is concluded with a drive back to Kathmandu. This trek can be done at any time of the year except during monsoon [July & August]
